Terms and conditions of agreeing to accept business through Freelance Training Services Ltd

(enter your name) is a trainer operating on an independent basis.

You will shortly be asked to accept the following:

I agree that any client to which I am introduced by Freelance Training Services Ltd will be treated by me as a client of Freelance Training Services Ltd and not as my own client.

I agree that I will keep Freelance Training Services Ltd up to date on all conversations and developments with Freelance Training Services clients, not just regarding current projects but also regarding any future invitations made to do business that can be reasonably held to have been made as a result of the introductions made by Freelance Training Services Ltd.

I agree that all training projects to which I am introduced, or that can be held to have been offered to me now and in the future as a result of an introduction made by Freelance Training Services Ltd, will be invoiced through Freelance Training Services Ltd, unless express written permission is given.

I agree that I understand that Freelance Training Services Ltd will take steps to recover monies due on projects not declared to Freelance Training Services Ltd.

I agree that I will not discuss rates with clients except with the express written permission of Freelance Training Services Ltd, and that any client requests to discuss rates will be referred back to Freelance Training Services Ltd.

I agree that I will keep Freelance Training Services Ltd informed of all changes in personal circumstances, including contact information.

I agree that I will receive payment for my services once a Freelance Training Services client has paid Freelance Training Services Ltd. I understand that Freelance Training Services Ltd will do its utmost to achieve prompt payment by the client.

I agree that I will inform Freelance Training Services Ltd immediately in the unlikely event that I am unable to provide services agreed (eg in case of illness), and that another Trainer may be substituted if a Freelance Training Services client so desires, with the agreed daily rate being forfeited.

I agree that I will maintain a highly professional standard of service to Freelance Training Services clients at all times. This includes arriving at training venues an absolute minimum of 30 minutes before the start of any training course.

I agree that I will not reveal to delegates that I am a contractor unless directly challenged, and that I will not deliberately lead delegates to ask.

I agree that where I am representing another training organisation, I will act so as to represent that organisation to the end client

I agree that I will not reveal information about my own business without the express written permission of Freelance Training Services Ltd.

I agree that I will respect client confidentiality before, during and after all training events.

I agree that I understand that although Freelance Training Services Ltd has insurances, I am advised that I should nevertheless make my own insurance arrangements.

I agree that this is not an offer of employment by Freelance Training Services Ltd, and that I understand that I am responsible for paying my own taxes and national insurance.

I agree that this agreement is permanently in force, unless mutually agreed in writing with Freelance Training Services Ltd, and will not be affected by a change in my trading name unless changing to limited company status or vice versa, in which case I recognise that a new agreement will be required.
